Pick and rolls are the most effective way to create openings on offence in lacrosse, especially in box lacrosse. Execution of a proper pick and roll lies with the ball handler. The player with the ball must draw the opponent towards them. This is the most important step. The ball handler looks to engage 1on1 which draws his opponent out to him.
